The Sagadahoc Valley Railroad is an HO scale 17’ x 13’ layout set from the early diesel era to the present. A unique feature of this layout is that it is in two different rooms. A hole cut into the dividing wall allows the trains to pass from one section to the other. The SVRR interchanges with the Norfolk Southern, Bangor & Aroostook, the St. Lawrence & Atlantic and recently added the Eastern Railroad to its railroading partners. Some of the commodities the SVRR carries are milled lumber, paper, frozen foods, plastic pellets, auto parts and scrap metal. Digitrax DCC is used to control the layout.
